About Mrs. Tronnes
Hello! My name is Mariah Peterson, my students call me Mrs. Tronnes. This is my fifth year teaching in Isle Public Schools. I am so excited to get started on another year in 4th grade!
A little about myself...
I grew up in Dover, MN with my mom, dad, stepdad, sister, 2 brothers, and 2 step-brothers. I attended PSEO at Rochester Community and Technical College where I graduated with my 2-year Associate's degree in May 2014. Two weeks later I graduated from Dover-Eyota High School. After that, I traveled to Moorhead, MN where I attended Minnesota State University Moorhead and received my 4-year Bachelors in Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education. I graduated from there in May 2017. I am currently pursuing my master's degree in Education with a focus on mathematics from Walden University.
Since my time here in Isle, I have started coaching the cheer team for both football and basketball. I recently got married and bought a house with my husband. We live in Aitkin with our cat, Meeko, and our dogs Lucy and Jett. We are also expecting our first child in February 2022 and we could not be more excited!
